the Mating Season is here again, and what better reason could there be for a season? Apologies for the radio silence lately, we’ve had lots going on. Just the main points to keep you posted – I’ll stick any other news and update stuff in the newsletter. Speaking of which…
THE NEWSLETTER
In the past, we put out an action-packed newsletter, like a mini-fanzine. On the previous site, I thought it’d be better to put the news on the site so everyone could read it. Thing is, not everyone is interested in news – not to mention, folks seemed to quite like our old-style newsletter.
We’ll return to sticking more of the news in the newsletter, for the folks who are interested to subscribe to it. That’ll leave ArtOfZoo clear to post the interesting stuff, I still have decades of posts and articles waiting to be published again, and tons more part-written. So hereon in, if you want all the juicy goings-on and general chit-chat, you know what to do.
MOGUL NEWSLETTER

ALL CHANGE PLEASE
A lot has changed recently, hard to know where to begin. Maybe the fallout from the lockdowns – folks catching up on fun after all that – maybe the new direction we are headed, maybe the weather?
Whatever the reason things seem to be changing. Spain just legalized it (“Arriba!”) – new projects new directions, and we’ve been hearing from increasingly more Petfans interested to get involved in a meaningful way. Seems more of our Members (a sensible level of fiscal responsibility aside) are concluding that a life lived well, is preferable to being a corpse with cash.
The new ‘bringing Models to us’ plan has really greased the wheels. We’ve had more people visiting us for shoots and fun in the past months, than we’ve had in the past 10 years. And it’s not slowing down. As I’m writing this, ILZ is busy shooting with the lovely Böses Mädchen Lena, and more friends arriving in a few weeks. If you were wondering why no movie updates in a while – that’d be one of the reasons.
ARTOFZOO CHANGES
We started from humble beginnings, releasing nice low-budget amateur videos with good action. As things progressed, we heard from increasingly delightful ladies, and production values improved as the tech got better. Members started asking ‘hey, couldn’t you get a mainstream Porn Star to do a movie?‘ And we did – quite a few as it goes.
As the years ticked by, the production values in our movies continued to improve – the side-effect of which was that more amateur ladies no longer felt confident to put their material up alongside our other Models. Members then started asking us if we could release more amateur content. You really can’t please all the people all the time 🙂
Based on sales of public movies lately, it seems Members are not so interested in low-budget movies. It’s sad but understandable. We’ve been doing low-budget movies for a long time and we’ve covered a lot of ground.
Members do seem to be interested in high-budget productions though. Having seen what fabulous stuff is possible with a higher budget, that’s also understandable.
The fact is, ArtOfZoo has been lingering in a production middle ground for some time – not quite amateur, but not quite high-end either.
GO BIG OR GO HOME
We’ve been experimenting with higher-budget productions, something a bit new. So far so good. High-budget animal sex movies appear to be what Petfans want, based on the numbers.
High-budget animal porn is a world unexplored. The only producers that went near high budget were the Japanese crew GloryQuest; those guys made some beautiful movies, even if the action was not quite right. A few Italian producers in the 60s/70s made some feature films such as Bestialita, more erotic than hardcore as the action in those movies was weak if there was any at all. Apart from those productions, to my knowledge, nobody has really gone bigger with animal porn.
We’ve always had amazing Producers, both male and female. We’ve lost quite a few, because it’s difficult for any Producer – any Artist – to branch and try new and daring productions if the budgets don’t allow them to. Now it seems the budgets can be there, with a little help from our friends.
ANIMAL SEX FOR THE DISCERNING PETFAN
Higher quality productions of course require bigger budgets. For example, pulling off the Raven project the old-fashioned way would have required more individual payments and more editing than we could realistically handle. Not to mention, the recent sales numbers wouldn’t have supported it, so it wouldn’t have happened at all.
To provide the level of service I prefer to offer our Patrons, we need to be dealing with a smaller group of people. Fewer Patrons means fewer sales, so our pricing needs to change. We will start working towards making ArtOfZoo our premium brand of animal sex videos, along with some interesting VIP services. Changing the ArtOfZoo site to reflect all this is next on the agenda.
Despite the recent sales numbers on public movies, a small handful of you have continued to support our work since the start. I know many of you have limited funds, and do what you can where you can – we haven’t forgotten you folks, and we do appreciate your loyal support over the years. For you folks, we have a new site planned – a site specifically for more amateur productions, somewhere the amateur Pet Ladies will feel more comfortable. Not to mention, doing it in a way I reckon you will enjoy more.
Higher-budget animal porn is exciting though, it’s a new adventure. Anything could happen, hell even Hollywood started somewhere. Within the next few Mogul Projects, we aim to start shooting in 4k, finally. DogWoman, Raven, etc, these Ladies are only the beginning – you Patrons stick with it, and let’s see what awesomeness we can conjure up together. 🙂
OTHER BITS AND PIECES
We just announced Mogul Project #5 – “Boar Corps.” – if you are a boar fan, you might like to jump on that and help us get set up for more boar productions.

We are temporarily putting a hold on verifying everyone and trying to put people in touch with one another. We will start doing verifications again when we launch the new contact site – you can read about that here.

DO NOT PUSH BUTTON
We had an amusing mail recently. Someone mentioned that – presumably after the “Art of The Zoo challenge” went viral (look it up) – another TikTok video was telling people to stay away from us. Which of course is the surest way to get the right kind of people to come and take a look. The visitor explained that is how he arrived here. Good job TikTok, for doing your part to spread the Petlove, every bit helps. Let’s hope more major sites and networks help us in the same way.
