THE MACHINE HAS LANDED!
We are relieved to have completed the first dog sex bondage movie from the Strict Machine Mogul Project. Apologies, it took a bit longer than expected – not just with the build, but with events surrounding the build. The frame itself wasn’t without hiccups, mind – turns out those Ladies can wriggle and squirm in all kinds of new and interesting ways. This was absolutely the most challenging movie project to date.
The engineering problem of ‘how best to restrain a Lady so the dog can fuck her‘ has rattled around the thinking box for some time. Here’s something about what we did, how, and why, for general interest and to help others who might be interested to build something similar.
SUPERSIZE ME
I went off brief a bit. The original plan was to build something compact that could be easily packed away. On reflection, I felt compact lacked presence. It needed a bit of ‘wow‘. Although not as convenient as a foldaway affair – the scale of it seems appropriate. I like to think of it as an altar to our favorite sport and our favorite Ladies.
It needed to be robust, given the size and vigor of some dogs. We didn’t want the frame rattling to pieces or sliding around the room when Rover got to work. I have experience with that, this is not my first dog sex bondage frame. I made one for The Record shoot, it features in the final unreleased episode. It had to be made of wood so we could get it on a plane. We flew with it, we got it up the mountain – I set it up, got Stray in it – the dog jumped on, and snap! The thing broke before it even got started. I did not want that happening again, so Mach. 1 is built like a tank. Just as well, at one point Dangerous nearly fucked Tink clean off the frame.
There were many possible options for the frame. Some simple, some far out. The decision wasn’t made easier considering we didn’t know what would really work until we actually built the thing and tested it.
I wanted something stable, and comfortable, with good camera options. As minimal design as possible – relying on body mechanics to keep the Lady in position, rather than tons of straps all over. Something that would not get in the way of those important shots.
After much ruminating, we picked the idea most likely to work and ran with it. Mach. 1 is the first prototype, probably not the last, and fuck me did we learn a lot about making bondage frames for dog sex.
ALL YOUR BASE ARE BELONG TO US
I had an idea for a kind of mini-stage in Portugal when we first started pushing for Hero Undershots. Cameras were much bigger back then. Getting that nice undershot meant crawling around between a Model’s legs during a mount, or shoving a load of hardware between her legs at great risk to the camera, dog, and footage. I thought it would be great to shoot from underneath a glass stage. An unobstructed view, and nothing to get in the dogs’ way.
Thanks to our intrepid Moguls, that stage is now a reality. Cameras are now wafer-thin, so the stage became more of a base. A base is good because it solves a bunch of other problems:
- it offers something stable to fix the frame onto
- it takes up a lot of the slack for certain adjustments
- it’s modular – we can easily add other frame formats to the base – e.g. a missionary bondage frame
The plywood we used for the base was a bit slippery. To fix that, we added some yoga matting topped with fur. The fur and yoga matting is easy on the Ladys’ knees, and good for the dogs’ gripping and balance. The fur looks cool and hides all the secret slots and compartments – plus, when the frame is broken down and put away, the fur base can be hung on the wall and doubles as a groovy modern artwork.
ADJUSTED FOR LOVE
The frame had to be adjustable to accommodate our various Ladies. Adjustable knee width and angle, to adjust to a Lady’s leg length and preferred posture. Adjustable bench height, and adjustable distance between the kneelers and the bench, according to how tall a Lady is.
Our first attempt at the frame was far too adjustable. Great, if we were shooting Ladies 2 feet to 9 feet tall. It turns out, with Ladies in that 4-to-6-foot range, the amount of adjustment needed is quite minimal. So we did it again.
All the complexity of this project came from the adjustable parts. If you are building a frame for a specific Lady, and you already know her dimensions, there’s no need for the various adjustable bits. The whole thing becomes much simpler. Something like the Mach Mini would probably do the job.
RISERS OF THE MACHINE
The risers, or kneelers, raise the Ladies up so our bigger boys can get at the fun parts, whilst maintaining a good knee spread. A good spread looks hotter, plus it leaves more space between the legs to fit all the camera stuff. Getting a clear, unobstructed view of the fun was part of the reason for the frame in the first place.
These worked pretty well out of the gate. Easy to unlock, adjust, then re-lock. 1 small problem – a wide spread can get in the way of a knotting. Not always, but it does complicate things. We’re hoping to solve that problem with the next frame versions. We may need to find a different way to raise the Ladies up.
BENCHMARK
The bench was more tricky. The relationship between the upper body and legs controls the hips, so getting the bench right was important.
Once the bench was put together we would know if the frame would work, or not. And, it didn’t. We had to re-weld the bench a bunch of times. It got narrower, then shorter, then shorter again and more narrow. We added bits and took bits off until it more-or-less did what we needed. It does the job, but I would make a lot of changes to the bench on future versions.
We were going for a ‘leaning on the elbows‘ position, I noticed taking the weight on the elbows seemed to cause a Lady to drop her lower back naturally. It’s a nice-looking position too. We put some slots in the bench, to hold the wrists/forearms. The Lady was nicely positioned for the dogs.
If the elbows position is too challenging, the Lady can lay flat on the bench and hold the grip bars at the end, in a kind of racing bike position…
PORTAL TO A DOGGY DIMENSION
On the first attempt at the base, I experimented with a tapered slot for the camera. I thought it would be a clearer view than using glass. The slot didn’t work at all and nearly took my eye out.
Instead, we got some strong galvanized glass – we jumped up and down on it, and we tested the cameras through it. It worked just fine. The glass offers easy access to the cameras, and the camera box underneath the glass gives some support to the center of the base.
It’s wide enough to hold the light, plus several phones in different configurations, to get different views e.g. wide-angle and close-up. The glass is great because the dog doesn’t jizz all over the camera. It keeps the cameras safe – it’s recessed flush on the base so it keeps the dogs’ feet safe – and it really does give some fab views of the action.
After shooting, the glass is removed and the cover put back, ready to hang the frame back on the wall. The cover clips onto the base with strong magnets. With the fur, the slot around the cover is all but invisible unless you are really looking for it. The camera port is probably my favorite part of the frame.
STRAP-ON STRAP-OFF
The straps were also tricky – how best to bind the Lady to the structure? Thought that bit would take 5 minutes. It did not take 5 minutes. We played around with all kinds of strap types and configurations and settled on a solution that holds the Lady quite nicely, and quite comfortably.
If there was one thing that could do with some more tweaking, it’s the knee straps. Even when strapped in quite tightly, the knee straps together with the shiny upholstery give the Lady a couple of inches of wriggle room on the kneelers. That couple of inches is all that’s needed to allow the Lady to start tilting her hips down. Not enough to stop the dog from doing his thing – still it would be better if the straps were tighter or done differently. This only came to light after we had finished testing and got the upholstery done, on the grippy rubber surface of the knee boxes this was not happening.
When all the building, testing, and upholstering were done, we added a touch of flair.
TESTING, TESTING
We were concerned the dogs wouldn’t go for a static Lady strapped to a frame. We needn’t have worried. Once the boys figured out that this was a thing to put Ladies on for them to fuck, they thought it was the best thing they ever saw. We couldn’t keep them off it. I’m half expecting to catch them cruising around the neighborhood on it.
Keep in mind – it was not long ago that our Asian Ladies first discovered dog sex. The bondage frame was next-level peculiar for them. Our Ladies were super brave – being done by the beast is 1 thing, being tied up while it happens is a different matter. During testing, when things weren’t quite perfect, there were a few pokes in the bum, a few ouch moments. The Ladies were great throughout and made the magic happen. In a way, I think they like having this special ‘stage’ on which to perform, as much as our boys do.
Yes, lots of testing with our Ladies, lots of dog fun as the frame takes shape. We recorded much of the testing, for our Moguls on the project, and you folks will get to see the frame as it evolves. If you missed out on being a Mogul on this project, you can still be a late Mogul and get all the behind-the-scenes stuff.
CURSE OF THE FRAME
I was going to leave this section out. I think it warrants a mention if only to elaborate on why this project took as long as it did.
As explained above, the bondage frame made for The Record was a disaster. In fact, the entire shoot was a disaster and it’s a surprise we got any material at all. The frame broke and fucked up that whole session. On leaving the shoot I nearly got arrested for inadvertently leaving a live tazer in my hand luggage at Milan airport, during the height of 9-11 paranoia. Not to mention the 30 or so master tapes of hardcore animal porn I had in the other bag that was thankfully overlooked. I put that down to general fun and games, up until we announced this project.
As soon as it was announced, things started going wrong. Side projects crashed and burned. The network got closed down. My friend dropped dead in my house leading to a house full of police, and needing to disappear an entire studio in a real fucken hurry – not ideal. One Model fell off a motorbike. One Model got mugged and attacked. One Model got kidnapped, then escaped. The studio flooded. I’m a bit rusty with handicrafts, but during the build, I’ve never known so many accidents. I took my knuckles off twice, very nearly put a drill through my thigh, and a flying router narrowly missed my head. I started to think this frame did not want to be built. A few times I nearly canned the project. However, I like to feel we have a good track record of doing what we say we will do, so we soldiered on through.
If I made a full, exhaustive list of everything that went wrong during this project, you’d have a hard time believing it. ILZ didn’t believe in the curse – until the day before publishing the movie, the electricity went out in his condo leaving him stuck in an elevator, among other things. I got the worst case of food poisoning in my life. Uh, the list goes on. Tutankhamun’s tomb got nothing on Mach. 1.
I’m not a particularly superstitious chap, but I am wary of the frame at this point. We have a few hours left until all this is published, I’m sitting here wondering what crap will come through the door next. It’s like a cross between The Grudge and the puzzle box from Hellraiser.
So, if you do plan to have a go at a dog sex bondage frame, do be careful eh. You have been warned 🙂
THE END?
Thanks to everyone who sent in their ideas for frames, that was great. Mach. 1 does the job, but it’s not 100% perfect. In building and testing the frame we’ve learned a lot, and seen a dozen ways it could be improved or upgraded. Armed with that info, it might be nice to do another Mogul Project for Mach. 2 and 3 at a later date.
Also, it would be great to get Mach. 1 – or a frame like it – in Europe. European and Western Ladies are more familiar with BDSM games, the frame would see a lot more action in Europe for sure. Don’t know how we would get it there, the thing weighs a ton. That is a tomorrow problem.
From the first woodcut to publishing this post and everything in between, this has been an epic project. Big thanks to all our Moguls for funding this project, we had fun building it despite the curse, and it’s great to finally get something built. Even if it’s just a start. Thanks to ILZ for building it with me and for not pushing me to build the entire thing from glass. Thanks to our Ladies for bringing their vaginas around for us to experiment with. And thanks for reading. Now stop reading, and go buy the movie already. 🙂
