I hope everyone is kicking ass as the year draws to a close. With that last update, it’s become clear how important it is to get news out quickly. If our newsletter takes 3 months to send out, then Karma takes 3 months to complete.

This is a simplified, more discrete way of letting you know when we update something on the site. Here’s a bit more info if you need it.
WHAT IS IT?
We need a way to stay in touch with all of our Members. If we can’t stay in touch, we don’t have a network. Sending out our usual newsletter is becoming increasingly difficult and time consuming.
Most common channels like Wechat, Twitter/X Telegram etc are not available to us. Not with our content or links to our sites.
So then, we’d like to try it without content. Use our sites for content, and use Telegram to let you know when there’s new stuff.
If it works, we will extend this method to other major messengers and also change the way we send newsletters. This will give us a far greater reach. A bigger network is good for all network Members. We’ll try it in Telegram first and see how it goes.
DISCRETION
Folks usually have Telegram on their phones. So we get that it’s not ideal to have dog sex pics and lewd comedy popping up when Grandma is looking for cat videos.
Firefly channel is simply to let you know that we’ve updated something on the site. No photos, no videos, nothing sexy, all very discrete. Think of it as a polite whisper in your ear.
I’ve put a test post in there, so you can see how we will update you – nothing to panic about.
We’ll have to reorganize the site a bit, so you know where to head for – we can’t put any links in any channels either. So we’re relying on you to remember who and where we are 🙂
TEST FIRST
It’s 50/50 that this experiment will last further than a few days. There will be no official reason to suspend the channel, but when it comes to us, they don’t need a reason. We’ll have to try it and see. Within 2 minutes of this post going up, the channel will be reported. So we will know fairly quickly what the outcome is.
As a pre-experiment we’ve been running a similar channel for over a year now, to see how it holds up. It’s still there, fingers crossed Firefly will hold up too.
10,000
We need a goal to make things interesting. If this is holding up and we get to 10,000 subscribers, I will update the site with a free gift of some description. I don’t know what, I’m sure we have a nice thing or 2 laying around on the shelf. Some of you might need to remind me, I’m sure you will 🙂
This is one of those ideas that could potentially move things forward, so your participation would definitely be appreciated.
